May be also failing to detect black mark.

Resolution:

  1. Clear any jam and reload paper.

  2. Check connections to sensors in printer.

  3. If there is a black mark on paper when unit is set to no black mark, change paper roll type to no black style.

  4. Check DIP switch #6 setting.
