Resolution:

  1. Check cassette to make sure it is not empty.

  2. Check condition/quality of the bills.

  3. Shuffle the bills in the cassette.

  4. Check the clutch alignment screw and the cassette retainer clips.

  5. Check condition of the pick wheels.

  6. Inspect/clean the CS1A and CS1B sensors.
